LOCATION AND MAP

                      The panchayath is located towards the eastern end of chittur taluk in palakkad district. It lies between 10°43'02” and 10°47'35” North latitude and 76°42'33” and 76°50'02” East longitudes. The panchayath is bounded on the east by Kozhinjampara and Nalleppully panchayths, south by Nalleppully , Polppully and Kodumbu panchayaths west by Kodumbu, Marutharoad and Puthusseri panchayaths  north by Pudussery and Vadakarapathi panchayaths. The total Geographical area of the panchayath according to revenue records is 4,907 ha.
